We seek a software engineer to re-implement current GPS analysis using database-backed job execution on a 20-node Linux cluster, create a near real-time tracking of processing with web-based analysis assessment, and implement a variety of numerical filtering and parameter estimation algorithms. The successful candidate will work closely with staff within the CWU Geodesy Lab, write automation software using object-oriented scripting, database and system-level languages (eg Perl, SQL, C++), and serve as a resource to staff, faculty and students in a Master's research program. An M.S. in Geophysics, Computer Science or related technical fields or a B.S. plus five years of relevant experience required.
