We are seeking experts in seismic data-acquisition imaging and processing 
software systems for a brief paid consultation.

Need expert in seismic data-acquisition imaging and processing software systems.

Our client is looking for an industry executive or academic who is extremely 
familiar with seismic data-acquisition and processing imaging and software 
systems.  You can complete this paid interview entirely by telephone, and even 
if you are working full-time for another firm.  Compensation is by the hour.  


Input/Output and Sercel (CGG) are among the leaders in the seismic 
data-acquisition and processing imaging and software systems industry.  These 
tools help petroleum exploration contractors (Trace Energy, Terra Seismic, etc.) 
identify and measure subsurface geological structures that could contain oil 
and gas.  

Ideally, you work at a company in this arena and have both a macro and 
micro-level understanding of the seismic data-acquisition and processing industry.
  
Questions our client would like to address: What are the prospects for the 
seismic data acquisition and processing industry?  What are the advantages and 
disadvantages of the major companies in this space?  How do the next generation 
of systems compare?  How much processing is being done now, and how much will be 
needed in the coming few years?   

Qualifications: At least five years experience in the seismic data-acquisition 
and processing industry.  Insight into both business and financial issues would 
be helpful.
