JOB SUMMARY: 
ENSCO employs a group of experienced data analysts and evaluators who 
have supported the Air Force Technical Applications Center for many 
years.  These positions are critical to the operation of the United 
States National Data Center at AFTAC, which is located at Patrick Air 
Force Base in Florida.  This talented group provides support in the 
following areas: 
-  Analysis and evaluation of waveform data from various geophysical
   phenomenologies (primarily seismic, hydroacoustic, and   infrasound), 
   recorded at local, regional, and global distances.
-  Analysis and evaluation of events of special interest occurring in 
   selected areas of the world. 
-  Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the operational
   performance of new stations, processing algorithms, etc. 
-  Review on-line station performance on a daily basis using various 
   criteria (e.g., station signal-to-noise). 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 
-  Experience in analysis of seismic, hydroacoustic, and/or infrasonic 
   waveform data.
-  Experience using the UNIX operating system (SUN/Solaris). 
-  Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
-  Must be eligible for a United States security clearance.

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
-  A Masters or Bachelors degree in earth or physical sciences is 
preferred.
