
The University of Nevada must be in the forefront of communicating with users of seismic data, understanding their needs, and transfering information on seismic hazards to them.
Government support for research will remain strong, but additional funds may not be available to maintain or improve monitoring in the Las Vegas region or eastern Nevada.
