MAP APPEARS WITHOUT EARTHQUAKE SYMBOLS

If the map appears without earthquakes, then the server is most likely updating the database. Please wait several seconds and CLICK RELOAD ON YOUR BROWSER TO REFRESH

THE FRAME AREA IS COMPLETELY BLANK

You need Netscape version 4.x that is enabled with Java (JDK v1.1). If you have a version 4.x, and this Java Applet still does not work, then down load these java classes and install in Netscape directory.

Why This Problem:

The creators of the new programing language, JAVA, by Sun Microsystems have decided to make parts of the language obsolete. The new language parts, of course, are not interpreted by older browsers.
