Dierkhising, JoeStatus: Graduate StudentI grew up in Santa Rosa and San Diego California. I earned my B.S. in Earth science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. While at Cal Poly I got involved in geophysics research my sophomore year and never looked back. As a Masters student in Geophysics at the University of Nevada I am using reflection seismology, seismic imaging techniques and AVO/AVA to explore problems in geothermal exploration, tectonic structure and characterization.
