Support for Seismic Network Operations at the Nevada Seismological Laboratory


The Seismic Montoring Network operated by Nevada Seismological Laboratory at the University of Nevada Reno (http://www.unr.edu) is supported by several institutions and organizations. Primary support is provided by the following:

1. The State of Nevada through the Statewide Programs at University of Nevada, Reno.

2. The United States Geological Survey and National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program (NEHRP) through a Cooperative Agreement managed within the Advanced National Seismic System initiative.

3. The Department of Energy Yucca Mountain Project under a contract managed by Sandia National Laboratory (Lead Laboratory).

3. The Nevada Earthquake Safety Council.
