Salary Range:        Level A - $61,179 - $65,467 pa plus 17% super
                Level B - $68,767 - $81,135 pa plus 17% super

Applications are invited from suitably qualified women and men for appointment as
Postdoctoral Fellow (Level A) or Research Fellow (Level B) in the Earth Physics Area at
the Research School of Earth Sciences (RSES), Australian National University. They will
work with the Director of the Research School (Prof. B.L.N. Kennett) on the development
of a research and teaching program in geophysical aspects of Natural Hazards.

Applicants will be expected to have established a strong research record, a commitment to
teaching at postgraduate level and to the supervision of research students.

There is no specific application form, but applicants should provide details of their
curriculum vitae, research and teaching experience and publications, their specific
research interests and the way in which they envisage that a research program in natural
hazards should develop.
