Student entries total 40. View a list of the entries. Poster display boards ( 45) will be delivered Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p. m.. Permission has been received to place the posters down the center of the hallways on the 3rd floor so that both sides can be used.

Some departments are planning on having displays in addition to the student displays. Please contact John Louie to let him know your plans.

Poster boards will be picked up Friday afternoon between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.

Posters will be judged at 12:00 p. m. and results will be announced between 2:00 -2:30 p. m.

DEPARTMENTAL AND LABORATORY TOURS CONTACT: Ken Smith

Please contact Ken no later than today (Monday) to give him information you want included on tour directory.

A Mackay alum will be teamed with a student at each entrance to the buildings to hand out tour directories and direct guests to the various departments. An informational table will be set up on the 3rd Floor, LME. Each department needs to have faculty and staff on hand to greet guests and lead them on informed tours of classrooms, laboratories, etc.

We encourage everyone to have their laboratories open with a knowledgeable person on hand to greet and talk with guests. Please inform Ken Smith of your lab's name and location so it can be included in the tour directory.

SIGNAGE

Chris Pizarro in the NBMG Cartography Lab is producing signs for rooms that are missing signage in LME and LMR.

Please submit needs for any other signs to Alice by today.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONTACT: Ingrid Ramos

The Dean's Office is providing funds for refreshments. Ingrid Ramos and Gina Tempel will purchase all food and beverages and will set up the food stations on the 3rd and 4th floor.

We have been contacted by several media representatives about these events on Thursday and Friday. Please be prepared to show these people around and to discuss the strong points of your department, especially ways it benefits Nevada and that we provide degrees that are in demand.
