An earthquake of magnitude M 3.9 occurred at 02:06 PM (PDT) Monday, 16 October
1995 approximately 16 km (10 mi) southeast of Gardnerville, Nevada. Some felt
reports have been received, but there are no damage reports at this time. The
hypocenter coordinates are 38.820 N, 119.626 W at a depth of 8 km (5 mi).
